MELANIE POSTMA
Graduated in 2008 with a BFA from Eastern Michigan University. After graduation, she worked as a curator, web designer, organizer, coffee maker, phone caller and dish washer at the River Gallery Fine Art in Chelsea, MI.

In 2009 she was given the opportunity to study the Italian language in Florence, Italy while completing an internship as part of an Italian Web Marketing firm right in the middle of the historical center. There she realized her desire to experience new cultures from the inside out and became very familiar with feelings of humiliation and shame associated with the first few months of learning a new language.

After returning to the States, she has continued building her portfolio and falling more in love with the design process by designing promotions, posters, business cards, etc for Mainstreet Ventures Inc. — a company based in Ann Arbor, MI that owns and operates 15 different restaurant concepts in 5 states.
